It is located at Rachuonyo Sub-County Hospital along Oyugis-Kendu Bay Road.
The school is a community initiative sponsored by the KMTC Board, Homabay County Government and Kasipul Constituency to address the shortage of health workers in the area.
It was done in March 2016.

Requirements: Grade C- average, C- in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences.

Requirements: Grade C- average, C- in English or Kiswahili and D in Biology/Biological Sciences.

Diploma in Health Promotion
Prerequisite: KCSE average of “C” (Plain). Compulsory Subjects: “C-” (Less) in English or Kiswahili “D” (Plus) in Biology or Biological Sciences.
A minimum of “D” (Ordinary) in one of the following subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Home Science, Agriculture, Physics, or Physical Science.

- Plans to acquire an administration block, which is currently occupied by Rachuonyo Sub-County Hospital administration.
- Additional seven rooms were leased to the campus by Homabay County at Kosele Sub-County.
- A well-equipped computer laboratory to facilitate digital learning and practical skills development.
- A skills lab equipped with necessary tools and equipment for learners to practice hands-on medical procedures.
- An ablution block to cater to the hygiene needs of students and staff.
