This article is about GOtv Packages and Prices in Kenya today. GOtv is a cheap Multichoice Digital Pay TV that was launched in 2011. They offer a wide variety of channels, namely movies, music, kids, news and sports, which allows them to always stay one step ahead of their competitors.

All you need to access the GOtv service is a GOtv set-top box and a GOtenna.

From 2023, the new GOtv set-top box costs Ksh 1,299 and comes with a one-month GOtv Plus package. Gotenna is recommended for better reception at a price of Ksh 849.

They have seven packages; GOtv Lite Monthly, GOtv Value, GOtv Lite Quarterly, GOtv Plus, GOtv Lite (Annual), GOtv Max and GOtv Supa.

GOtv Lite promises access to 21 channels at a monthly rate of Ksh 199,
GOtv Value gives you access to 33 channels at a monthly rate of Ksh 590,

GOtv Plus offers 47 channels at Ksh 930 per month while GOtv Max has access to area 60. channels
and international channels for Ksh 1,150 per month.
GOtv Supa (the most expensive package) offers access to 70 channels for Ksh 1,249 per month.

For GOtv Lite Quarterly and GOtv Lite (Annual), you will pay Ksh 500 and Ksh 1,200 respectively.

How to pay for GOtv Kenya subscription through Mpesa

Get your Mpesa menu
Select Lipa Na Mpesa

Select PayBill
Enter 423655 as your paybill number
Enter your Gotv IUC number – located on the bottom of your decoder with a red sticker

Enter the amount you want to pay
Enter your Mpesa PIN and click OK
You will receive a transaction confirmation message from Mpesa

How to activate GOtv after E16 payment/delete error

After making your payment, your screen may display an E16 error message. This happens when your decoder is turned off during checkout.

The easiest way to get rid of this error is to send a text message with the word RESET to your IUC number to 22688. You can also dial *423# on your phone to clear the error.
