• The school was founded in 1979 and is part of the Braeburn Group of International Schools which offers the UK National Curriculum in Kenya and Tanzania.

Braeburn is divided into :

• early years (home nursery for children aged 3 to 5),
• primary (1 to 6 years),
• secondary (7 to 11 years) and
• form six(12 and 13 years).

The school year at Braeburn School in Nairobi starts in September.

However, students can join the school at any time of the year.

To reserve a place for your child, you must complete the application form and pay a non-refundable registration fee of Ksh5,000 and a deposit of Ksh50,000.
