• The Rift Valley Technical Training Institute was established in 1962 as a technical and trade school until 1986 when it was upgraded to a technical training institute, the first in the region.
• RVTTI is located in Eldoret town, 3 kilometers from Eldoret CBD on the Eldoret-Kaptagat road.
