Amica Sacco

Amica is one of the best SACCOs to join in Kenya. It is a Tier one Sacco that was started in 1966 by coffee growers in Muranga but later opened up its network to serve the entire region.

The Sacco changed its name in 2016 and now operates as Amica Savings & Credit, or simply as Amica Sacco.

Amica Sacco’s banking channels include mobile banking, Sacco offices, Visa cards, cheques, bill payments and money transfer services such as Pesalink and RTFT.

The Sacco has 18 branches and over 360 employees spread across Nairobi, Kiambu and Muranga regions.

Members receive a loan ten (10) times their savings, commonly known as Investa.

Loans are repaid for up to 5 years and interest is charged at 1% per month and the balance is reduced.
