Maisha Bora Sacco Membership Eligibility

Employees of Unilever and its affiliated companies, Private companies and NGOs.
National and provincial government employees.
Kenyans in the Diaspora.

Business communities.
Registered groups.

Requirements for joining Maisha Bora Sacco

(I) Individual membership

Membership form duly completed and downloadable from the Sacco website.

Identity card (copy).
2 passport size color photographs.

Registration fee of Kshs 2,000.

(ii) Joining the group/Chama

Fill out the group membership request form.

Minutes of the group with a resolution authorizing the opening of an account with Maisha Bora.
Identity card (original and copy) of each signatory.
1 color passport photo for each signatory.

A copy of the registration certificate.
A copy of the group bylaws.
A list of all group members with identification numbers, duly signed by the members.
Cover letter from relevant government ministries (if applicable).

Account opening fee of Kshs 2,000.
Minimum monthly contribution of Kshs 3,000.

How to join Maisha Bora Sacco

Go to the Sacco website https://portal.maishaborasacco.com/Online%20forms.aspx and fill in the online registration form.

Pay the registration fee and share capital using payroll number 600110 with your identification number as the account number. You can also deposit the commission in the bank or in the FOSA.

Alternatively;

You can fill out the paper membership form available at the Sacco office and on their website under the download menu https://maishaborasacco.com/download/membership-application-form/.

Attach a copy of your ID, a passport photo and a copy of the KRA PIN certificate.
Please return the form to Sacco customer service and pay the membership fee of Kshs 2000 and a minimum share capital of Kshs 1000 or scan it and send it to your email info@maishaborasacco.com.
