The Society started with 690 members and has since grown to 71,000.

It has an asset base of Kshs 48.7 billion, a loan portfolio of Kshs 41 billion and total deposits of Kshs 29 billion.

The Kenya National Police Sacco has several branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret, Kakamega, Meru, Nyeri, Kisii and Nakuru.

Kenya National Police Qualifications

A member of either sex is eligible for membership if they meet the following qualifications;

  • Full-time and retired police officers.
  • Active and retired police officers.
  • The Kenyan police force is made up of civilians.
  • Kenya National Police Officer DT Sacco Society.
  • An employee of Utumishi Investment Limited.
  • A permanent employee of Ruaraka Housing Estate Limited.
  • Public servants.
  • Employees of companies operating in Kenya.
  • Business community.
  • Spouse, son or daughter of the above.


Membership Requirements of Kenya National Police Sacco


These documents are required;

  • A completed membership application form which can be downloaded from the Sacco website.
  • Copy of National Identity Card (both sides).
  • Two recent color passport photos.

membership withdrawal

Withdrawal from membership is voluntary and the Sacco must be notified in writing of the intention to withdraw. This is done by giving a written and signed letter and a completed withdrawal form available at the Sacco office.
This process takes 60 days after the confirmation of the receipt of the letter and only when the necessary conditions have been met, that is, the member will settle all the debts with the Sacco and replace all the members qu he promised.
