Malindi Marine National Park is blessed with marine life.
It is home to more than 600 species of fish, dolphins, turtles, anemones, crabs, lobsters, cucumbers, shrimps, octopus, dugongs and various birds.
The park is also home to beautiful coral gardens, shallow reefs, seagrass beds, mangroves and mudflats.
Visitors can enjoy glass-bottom sailing, sailing, snorkeling (thanks to the park’s clear turquoise waters), camping, and walking along the beach.
Fun facts:
- Malindi Marine National Park is the oldest marine park in Africa.
- If you are lucky, you will be able to observe the migration of the majestic humpback whales from June to September.
