The Lamaze Classes

These classes are designed to help mothers prepare for pregnancy and replace any negative thoughts about pregnancy. They usually take place on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm at 8000 for five sessions.

Coptic Hospital Maternity Charge

1. normal delivery

One night – room bed – 50,000 Ksh

Start of the service/perineal dressing: Ksh 5,000

Pediatrician admission fee: Ksh 10,000

2. cesarean section

It costs Ksh 140,000 for a two night bed. This amount covers the costs of gynecologists and anesthesiologists (CS) in the obstetrics department, but does not cover anti-D, vacuum equipment, baby supplements, milk boosters or any tests.

3. Emergency cesarean

It costs Ksh 150,000 for a two night bed.

Private doctors

  1. Normal delivery

Ksh 35,000 for overnight bed.

  1. Caesarean section

65,000 Ksh for two nights bed.

  1. Emergency cesarean

75,000 Ksh for two nights bed.

NHIF discount is Ksh 2,900 per night.

For civil servants and managed schemes, pre-approval must be sought.
Prenatal clinic day
Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The counseling fee is Ksh 1,500.
