How to fuliza MPESA loan

Once registered, you can use Fuliza MPESA to complete Lipa Na MPESA, send money, purchase airtime and fund withdrawal services. Nothing changes in the routine, just that you agree to use Fuliza at the end of the transaction when the Fuliza option appears. However, you cannot pay more than your loan limit with Fuliza and you must cover the transaction fee (deducted from your eligible Fuliza loan).

Here’s how to get started with the Fuliza Mpesa loan:

  • You must be an M-Pesa user and have an active Safaricom line.
  • Your Safaricom line must have been used within the last six months.
  • When you meet the above requirements, go to your phone, dial *234# and select Fuliza M-Pesa to participate. Alternatively, if you have the My Safaricom app, you can use it to get a Fuliza Mpesa loan.
  • M-Pesa will automatically assign a Fuliza limit, so you will not be able to use more than this limit.

You need to deposit or receive money from your M-Pesa to repay the loan. They will automatically deduct the money once it reaches your account.

So, whenever you need to pay for something or send money to someone, but your M-Pesa account is low, Fuliza will ask you to use the service to send. You can also check how to get Fuliza on another number here.

Kindly Note: When you opt for Fuliza, you can only top up within your limit.

5 tips on How to increase Fuliza limit today

Let’s now talk about your Fuliza loan limit. Most people start with Ksh 500, which, you have to admit, isn’t much. So how can you get more from this lender? That is, following these suggestions:

1. Use Fuliza frequently

Fuliza is like any other lender. The more you use the service, the more trust you will build with the lender and the more likely you are to benefit from a higher limit.

So, if you want to quickly increase your Fuliza limit, use Fuliza as often as possible to pay bills and other transactions.

2. Use MPESA and Safaricom services more often

Also, build a good relationship with the lender by using MPESA and Safaricom services more frequently. This includes, among others, purchasing airtime, paying bills, sending money and saving with MSHWARI. The more transactions you make with MPESA, the more the lender will trust you with a higher limit.

3. Pay Fuliza on time (the best way to increase Fuliza limit)

You are likely to increase your Fuliza limit if you repay the loan before the due date. Fuliza loans usually have a repayment period of 30 days; If you can pay off your debt during this time, you’ll be more likely to get a raise. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it doesn’t take long.

4. Stay away from the CRB

How you deal with other lenders can affect the amount you receive from Fuliza. For example, if you have been blacklisted by other lenders for loan default, Safaricom may choose to lower your Fuliza limit.

Alternatively, Safaricom may choose not to offer you the benefit or refuse to increase your limit. Therefore, it is essential that you also repay your other loans to avoid being blacklisted by the CRB.

5. Unsubscribe and then log in

NB: A word of warning, however; this may reduce the Fuliza limit rather than increase it.

However, many people claim that it works and that’s why it’s on my list.

how to unsubscribe from Fuliza:

  • Dial *234#
  • Select Fuliza MPESA (normally option 0)
  • Select more (usually option 8), then disable (usually option 7)
  • Choose Yes (usually option 1) to unsubscribe
  • Safaricom will send you an SMS indicating that you have opted out of Fuliza.

However, you should not rush to participate.

You can take a few hours or even an overnight before signing up and follow the steps I shared above.

Alternatively, you can register via the MySafaricom app.
