Around the world

You can send money anywhere in the world. This affects millions of bank accounts at over 500,000 Western Union locations around the world.

East Africa

You can easily send money to the East African region, especially to Rwanda, Uganda and Tanzania. Once in Tanzania, dial 15000# and send money to Mpesa Kenya to your vodacom line.

Once in Rwanda, dial *830# to send money to Kenya from your MTN line. Once you arrive in Uganda, dial *165# to send money to Kenya through your MTN line.

Paypal

Use Paypal’s mobile money service to earn money and shop worldwide with Mpesa. The minimum and maximum amount that a person can send through Mpesa Global is Kshs 101 and Kshs 70,000 respectively. The recipient will receive the money in their country’s currency.
