How to send money from Mpesa to NIC bank

Here is a simple guide for sending/depositing money from Mpesa to your NIC bank account.

It is one of the 43 commercial banks licensed in Kenya which was incorporated in Kenya on September 28, 1995.

The NIC headquarters are located at NIC House along Masaba Road and Upperhill, Nairobi. As of 2020, it has 42 branches across the country.

To send money from Mpesa to NIC Bank, you will need to know your account number and Mpesa payment number from NIC which is 488488.

 

 

How to send money from Mpesa to NIC bank

1. Get your Mpesa menu
2. Select Lipa and Mpesa
3. Select the payment invoice
4. Enter 488488 as the company number
5. Enter your NIC bank account number
6. Enter the amount you want to deposit into your account

7. Enter your PIN and click OK.

8. You will receive a transaction confirmation message from Mpesa at NIC Bank
