This article is about MKU School of Computing and Informatics Fees Structure. Mount Kenya University is one of the top private universities in Kenya and offers both regular and online/digital learning. The MKU School of Computing and Informatics is made up of three departments;

  • Department of Computer Science,
  • Department of Information Science and Knowledge Management and

a) Department of Computer Science

Degree in Computer Science

Requirements for admission

KCSE means grade C+(plus) with a minimum of C (normal) in Mathematics/Physics/IT and English/Kiswahili or diploma in a relevant field.

Regular: 8 semesters Ksh.50,550 per semester

Digital Learning Ksh 42,000 per semester

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Requirements for admission

KCSE means grade C+ (plus) with a minimum of C (regular) in Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science and English/Kiswahili or diploma in relevant field recognized by the Senate of Mount Kenya University.

Regular: 8 semesters Ksh.50,550 per semester

Digital Learning Ksh 42,000 per semester

Master’s Degree Course in Computer Science (M.Sc.IT)

Requirements for admission

Bachelor’s degree with second class honors (upper division) in an IT related course or equivalent qualification recognized by the Senate of Mount Kenya University.
