This article is about the courses offered at KMTC Wajir campus and fee structure. Established in 2016, KMTC Wajir Campus provides medical education opportunities in the Wajir region, eliminating the need for students to travel long distances to other cities across the country for similar training.

The school is located next to Wajir Referral Hospital along Wajir Airport Road.

Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery

Requirements: Grade C average, C in English or Kiswahili, and C in Biology/Biological Sciences, C- in Chemistry/Physical Science C- in one of the following areas: Mathematics, Physics/Physical Science.

Duration: 3 years

Community Nursing Certification

Requirements: Grade C- average, C- in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. D+ in one of the following disciplines: – Physics/Physical Science, Chemistry or Mathematics

Duration: 2 years

Diploma in Registered Community Nursing in Kenya (KRCHN)

Requirements: Grade C, C average in English or Kiswahili and Biology/Biological Sciences. C- in one of the following fields: Chemistry/Physics/Physical Science or Mathematics

Duration: 3 years

KMTC Wajir Campus Fee Structure

KMTC has recently released the Fees Structure for the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year.

Deposits can be made at any bank branch in the country. Also note that the college does not accept cash payments directly on campus.

Food and housing costs will be paid directly to the college at the applicable rate.

KMTC Wajir school application includes:

Modern classrooms: The school has two modern classrooms, each accommodating 45 students. These classes provide a learning environment that fits the curriculum.
Computer Lab: A well-equipped computer lab is available for students to improve their computer skills and conduct research related to their medical studies.

Canteen: The school has a canteen which serves cheap and healthy food to meet the dietary needs of the students.
Student Hostels: Two student hostels are provided on campus to accommodate students who need accommodation on campus.

Hands-on Lab: A hands-on lab is available, equipped with the tools and equipment necessary for students to practice and develop their hands-on skills.

It offers the following clubs: Muslim Group, Seventh Day Adventist, Young Christian Society, Drama and Music Club, Christian Union and Environmental Club.
